Scholarships are awarded for one year up to five years, depending on the program requirements. Students at all levels of education can apply for a scholarship. - Have completed at least one summer internship (only for scholars in multiple years)
- The student must be willing to work for the Department of Defense after earning a degree and meeting the criteria
- Requesting financing for at least one year before graduation (starting on the start date of the program)
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a technical subject within one of the 21 STEM disciplines
- To be eligible for the Scholarship, active-duty military personnel must be separated from service before August 1, 2023.
- Have a transcript from the fall of 2023 OR be enrolled in a graduate program at a university in the United States recognized by the appropriate regional accrediting body?
Members of the National Guard are encouraged to apply. If you are currently enrolled in ROTC and have promised to serve in the military in the future, you are ineligible to apply.
